What we can tell you so far
UDS is in active development. These answers reflect where the product is headed — we'll keep them current as it firms up.
What makes UDS different from the CRM I use now?
Your CRM asks your people to tell it what happened. UDS watches what actually happened — the call, the email, the appointment — and writes the record itself.
Contacts update when work is genuinely completed, not when somebody remembers to tick a box at the end of a shift. The summary, the customer sentiment and the next step are generated as the work happens rather than reconstructed later from memory.
Will Astra contact my customers?
Not without your say-so, and not in the moment that matters most. Astra will not reach out to, or reply on your behalf to, a customer who has just contacted you — those conversations belong to your people.
That threshold is configurable, so you decide where the line sits. We'd rather ship it conservative and let you loosen it than the reverse.
What does the call recording and coaching actually do?
Native Zoom and phone recording, with AI summaries, ranking and coaching built in rather than bolted on afterward. The practical result is that a manager can see how a conversation genuinely went instead of how it got logged — and coaching points to a specific moment in a specific call rather than a general impression.
Does it handle marketing campaigns too?
Yes. Email campaigns can be built and deployed from inside the system, and follow-up schedules adjust against what's actually converting rather than sitting on a cadence somebody set once and never revisited.
Do I have to replace everything at once?
No. UDS is built on the Control Center data layer, which already reads the systems you run today — so the data foundation is in place well before anything is switched over. Migration planning is part of onboarding, not something handed to you afterward.
When will it be available, and what will it cost?
Targeted for 2027. Pricing isn't published yet. Control Center customers will get first access and first notice — the data layer has to be established before an operating layer on top of it is worth anything.
